Xander Schauffele will be eager to mark his return to the PGA Tour by winning the
Arnold Palmer Invitational after recovering from an injury.
What to know about Schauffele
The American star was ranked in the top 10 of the World Amateur Golf Ranking at the time he turned professional in 2015, having won the 2014 California State Amateur Championship at La Costa Resort and Spa.
Schauffele boasts 12 professional wins, including nine PGA Tour events and he has also won two major championships, PGA Championship and Open Championship.

The last time the Jupiter, Florida-based golfer was in action competitively was at 2025 The Sentry in January in California, where he finished 30th and was sidelined by a rib injury.
Schauffele is currently placed third in the Official World Golf Rankings (OWGR) and his best overall ranking is second.
Why Schauffele is among the favourites
The 30-year-old showed his class when he won the PGA Championship and Open Championship in 2024 and became the first golfer to win multiple majors in the same year since Brooks Koepka won the 2018 US Open, and PGA Championship.
Schauffele, who pulled away from a crowded leaderboard with a 31 on the back nine in the final round to beat Justin Rose and Billy Horschel by two shots at the Open Championship, has what it takes to win this weekend's Arnold Palmer Invitational.
