Leaders Atletico Madrid will host Levante in a
2020-21 LaLiga match at Estadio Wanda Metropolitano on Saturday. It will be the second meeting between the two clubs this week, following their clash in Valencia on Wednesday.
Atleti head into back-to-back matches against Levante on a 10-game unbeaten run in the league following a 2-1 win at Granada last weekend. The Madrid giants sit five points clear of rivals Real atop the league standings.
"Our opponents will improve and get better, they're all very good teams and, as always in LaLiga, the second half of the season is always more difficult," Atleti manager Diego Simeone said this month.
"You've got more commitments, emotions come into play, there's the Champions League factor as well as a title race.
"Keeping up the same numbers and getting the same points in the second half of the season as you did in the first is really difficult; it's something that has very rarely happened.
"There's always something different and the second half of the campaign takes it out on you."
Levante's five-game unbeaten run in the league came to an end at home to Osasuna last time out.
Granotas lost 1-0 to remain in 11th spot, six points clear of the relegation zone.

Atletico Madrid took six points off Levante last season, winning 1-0 in Valencia and 2-1 in Madrid with goals from Angel Correa and Felipe.
