UEFA Europa League: Feyenoord, Porto set for epic clash

Feyenoord and Porto will meet for an epic clash, which is set to be the pick of the games from Groups G and H of the 2019/20 UEFA Europa League.

The matches are part of 24 Matchday 2 fixtures in the group stage of the competition, spread across the evening of Thursday 3 October.



Netherlands giants Feyenoord lost their opening Group G match away to Scottish counterparts Rangers last month, and they will be desperate for a response when Portuguese contenders Porto come to ‘De Kuip’ in Rotterdam.

The group’s remaining team is Swiss side Young Boys, who will also be looking to bounce back (they lost 2-1 away to Porto) when they host Rangers in Bern.



In Group H, Spanish side Espanyol face a tough match away to Russia’s CSKA Moscow at the VEB Arena (with the host side looking to respond from a 5-1 loss away to Bulgaria’s Ludogrets), while Hungary’s Ferencvaros will be at home to the Eagles in Budapest.
