The
Tshwane Derby clash between Mamelodi Sundowns and SuperSport United will headline the
2019/20 Absa Premiership action.
The two teams are set to lock horns at the Lucas Moripe Stadium in the city of Tshwane on Saturday, August 3.
This will be 57th meeting in the league between Sundowns and SuperSport since 1990. Kick-off is at 15h00.
Sundowns have recorded 29 victories compared to SuperSport's 15 wins, while 12 games ended in a stalemate.
However, SuperSport emerged 2-0 winners over Sundowns in their last encounter which was played in April 2019.
Sundowns' perennial Absa Premiership title rivals, Orlando Pirates are scheduled to face Bloemfontein Celtic at the Orlando Stadium on Saturday, August 3.
It will be 63rd meeting in the league between Pirates and Celtic since 1985. Kick-off is at 18h00.

Pirates have dominated this fixture - recording 31 wins compared to Celtic's 15 victories, while 16 games ended in a draw.
Celtic held Pirates to a 1-1 stalemate in their last match which was played in March 2019.
Meanwhile, Pirates' Soweto rivals Kaizer Chiefs will be open their campaign against Highlands Park at the Makhulong Stadium on Sunday, August 4.
This will be the fifth meeting in the league between Chiefs and Highlands since the inception of the Premier Soccer League (PSL) in 1996. Kick-off is at 15h00.
Chiefs are undefeated against Highlands as they have recorded three victories and one draw.
The last encounter between the two teams ended in a 3-2 victory in favour of Chiefs in March 2019.
