Rickie Fowler will be hoping to register his first victory of the 2024 PGA Tour season by clinching the Sanderson Farms Sanderson.

Fowler has been a key player for the US in 13 national teams, including five Ryder Cups (2010, 2014, 2016, 2018, 2023) and three Presidents Cups (2015, 2017, 2019), as well as competing in the 2016 World Cup.

The 2008 Ben Hogan Award winner has been inactive since he competed in The Open Championship in July where he finished 71st.
Fowler is currently placed 70th on the Official World Golf Ranking (OWGR), and his best overall ranking is fourth place.
Why Fowler is one of the favourites
The 35-year-old will be among the most experienced golfers in the field and the last time he won a PGA Tour event was in July 2023 - lifting the Rocket Mortgage Classic.
Fowler will view the Sanderson Farms Championship as his best opportunity to record his maiden win in 2024.
What did he say
"It’s tough, it’s a grind. All the guys who are out there [in the PGA Tour] are some of the best players in the world and we’re all trying to beat each other’s brains in," Fowler said in an interview with Score Golf in April.
"Looking at last year, I’m a lot better top to bottom and more of a well-rounded player.
"I’ve always been good and I was good coming out. Good enough to be out on tour and ultimately win in 2012. But last year I felt like I was the best version of myself so far."
