Inter Milan will lock horns with a wounded Torino FC side in a Serie A match at the iconic San Siro on 5 October.

Current Form

I Nerazzaurri claimed a 3-2 victory over Udinese Calcio away on 28 September as they snapped their two-match winless run in the Italian top tier.

Inter lost to AC Milan in their last home match in the competition and the defeat ended their 17-match unbeaten run at San Siro.

Meanwhile, Torino suffered a 3-2 defeat to SS Lazio at home on 29 September and the defeat ended their five-match unbeaten run in Serie A.

However, the Maroons are enjoying a three-match unbeaten run on the road in the league, having registered two successive wins and one draw as the away side.

Team News

Tajon Buchanan and Nicolo Barella are the only players on Inter's injury list at the moment and the Serie A champions have no suspension concerns.

On the other hand, Emirhan İlkhan, Zanos Savva and Perr Schuurs are on Torino's injury list and the club has no suspension worries.

Quotes

“Our approach against AC Milan wasn’t the best, and we worked hard on it during the week. Today went well, but it needs to be just the beginning," Inter star Davide Frattesi said after his side's win over Udinese.

"We were disappointed. You can lose matches, but not like last week. Today, we saw a glimpse of the old Inter again, as we put in a lot of work throughout the week. I joked with Lautaro [Martinez]. Last year he helped us win the championship.

"He knows how to score and has always done so, but we can't expect him to net a goal in every match. He has played a lot and didn't join us for the pre-season training, so he’s just getting back into shape, and we’re still at the start.”

Head-to-Head

Inter secured a 2-0 win over Torino in their last meeting in Serie A which was on 28 April at San Siro.

Therefore, I Nerazzurri are enjoying a 10-match unbeaten run in the league against the Maroons, having registered nine wins and one draw.
