McLaren's Lando Norris heads to the United States Grand Prix on Sunday, October 20 in confident mood as he goes in search of a fourth career win.
The Brit avoided an unwanted record when he claimed his maiden victory at the Miami Grand Prix on May 5 after previously going 15 podiums without a first win - a feat he shares with Patrick Depailler, Jean Alesi, Mika Hakkinen and Eddie Irvine.
Norris and McLaren team-mate Oscar Piastri have improved markedly in 2024, winning five races between them and securing 18 podium finishes in total.

The 24-year-old driver claimed victory at the Singapore Grand Prix last time out to close the gap to Championship leader Max Verstappen to 52 points in second place, with Piastri a further 42 points adrift in fourth spot.
McLaren have made significant progress in recent months, while Red Bull took a backwards step, allowing the former to open up a 42-point lead in the constructor's standings.
Norris admits their own expectations have increased as the season progressed and he's relishing the battle with Verstappen for the title.

"I think the whole team are feeling very good at the minute because, like Oscar [Piastri] said, since the summer break, I feel like we've taken a step forward as a team and have been performing at a very good level," he said during an event at the McLaren Technology Centre.
"But the competition is tough, and a lot of people will be bringing big upgrades to Austin. We need to keep our heads down and stay focused. In order to compete for the Championship, I think we need to try and not think about it too much.
"We just keep doing what we're doing because we're doing a very good job. Every weekend, we're going in with high hopes of podiums and wins, and that's an exciting feeling, so I am looking forward to every race until the end of the season."
