"The goal we conceded came from a pass from the centre of the pitch and they had a few counter-attacks but they weren't very dangerous," Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti said after their draw against Osasuna.
"We didn't play at a very intense pace, but the game was under control and we deserved to win. We put in crosses when we had the extra man, but they were comfortable with that. There wasn't any room for anything else.
"The game could have been won with the penalty. A very positive run comes to an end and hopefully we can start another positive run now."
The last meeting between Getafe and Madrid in the league was on 9 April 2022.
Madrid overcame Getafe 2-0 in a match which was played at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu which is the third largest stadium in Spain.
