South Africa will lock horns with Italy in an
international friendly match at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris in Genoa on November 19.
The Springboks succumbed to a 30-26 defeat to France in a friendly match that took place in Marseille on November 12.
Therefore, the world champions are winless in their last two matches across all competitions having recorded two consecutive defeats.
The Springboks are also winless in their last two away matches having registered two successive defeats on the road.

“Italy are a good side with proper systems in place and they come a long way with their coach,”Springbok assistant coach Deon Davids said.
“They have also had a few good results. They beat Wales away, and they beat Australia last weekend. They also defeated us in 2016, so we have to pitch up with the right mindset.
“We are expecting a physical game from them, and looking closely at their side, they have a good pack that will challenge us in the lineouts, scrums and mauls and they are also very good defensively," he added.
"So we need to be on our A game.

Meanwhile, Italy secured a 28-27 win over Australia in a friendly match which was played in Florence on November 12.
The Light Blues are undefeated in their last two matches across all competitions having recorded two successive wins.
Italy are also unbeaten in their last two home matches having registered two consecutive victories as the hosts.
The last meeting between Italy and South Africa was on 4 October 2019.
Springboks claimed an emphatic 49-3 win over the Light Blues in a 2019 Rugby World Cup match which was played at the Shizuoka Stadium Ecopa in Japan.
