Iago Aspas, the Celta captain, says they need to improve defensively following their disappointing display against Sociedad.
"There is no other option but to squeeze the balls and continue working more if possible," Aspas said.
"As Denis [Suarez] said, we lack bad blood and experience, especially to avoid conceding goals like the second and third, which have done us a lot of damage."
The last meeting between Elche and Celta in a league match was on 02 March 2015.
The two teams played to a 1-1 draw in a match which was played at the Estadio Municipal de Balaídos.
