Crotone will look for a major upset on the afternoon of Saturday 21 November when they welcome Lazio to the Stadio Ezio Scida for a 16:00 CAT kick-off. The match is one of 10 spread over 21-22 November as part of Matchday 8 in the
2020-21 Serie A season.
Crotone are still waiting for their first win of the season after drawing 0-0 away to Torino on November 8. They are rock bottom of the log but manager Giovanni Stroppa was happy to at least see his side keep a clean sheet.

“We finally leave the pitch with a clean sheet,” he explained. “We missed something in the final third but we showed personality, it was an important game for us.”
Lazio, meanwhile, held champions Juventus 1-1 at home before the international break, with Felipe Caceido’s late goal cancelling out Cristiano Ronaldo’s opener. Le Aquile are ninth on the log and looking to climb quickly.
“We had a run of incredible games, with players down to the minimum, going through Plan A, B and C. They surpassed themselves again, so our celebrations were even more excitable than usual,” Simone Inzaghi said.
“I think Lazio had a great performance and fully deserved at least a point. We conceded the opener after an error, Ronaldo hit the woodwork, but then we had plenty of chances and controlled the game.”

In head-to-head stats, Crotone and Lazio have met in four matches across all competitions since 2017. Le Aquile have claimed two wins compared to one for I Pitagorici, while one game has been drawn.
The teams last met in Serie A in the 2017-18 season, with Lazio winning 4-0 at home before the return game at Stadio Ezio Scida ended 2-2.
