Jordan Spieth will be determined to redeem himself by winning the
CJ Cup Byron Nelson for the first time in his career.
What to know about Spieth
The American star has won 16 professional tournaments since he turned pro in 2012 and he is a former number-one amateur in the World Amateur Golf Ranking.
Spieth is a three-time major winner having won the 2015 Masters, 2015 US Open and 2017 Open Championship, while also being crowned 2015 FedEx Cup champion.

The experienced golfer took a short break after taking part in the 2024 RBC Heritage where he 39th and he missed the recent Zurich Classic of New Orleans.
Spieth is placed 20th in the Official World Golf Rankings (OWGR) and his best overall ranking is 1st place which he achieved for the first time in 2015.
Why Spieth is among the favourites
The 2015 PGA Player of the Year came close to winning the Byron Nelson trophy in 2022 when finished second behind K.H Lee who secured a a 9-under 63 and a one-shot win.
Spieth, who hails from Texas, will be eager to redeem himself by winning the tournament and consolidating his spot in the OWGR's top 20.

"And I don’t know if I could have a thousand balls and hit it where I hit it.
