2024 PGA Championship is poised to take place at the Valhalla Golf Club in Louisville, Kentucky, USA between 16 and 19 May.
What to know about the tournament
Established in 1916, the PGA Championship is one of the four men's major golf championships and it is conducted by the Professional Golfers' Association of America.
PGA Championship winners are automatically invited to play in the other three majors (Masters Tournament, U.S. Open, and The Open Championship) and The Players Championship for the next five years, and are eligible for the PGA Championship for life.

The PGA of America has announced the current field list for the 2024 PGA Championship at Valhalla Golf Club, May 16-19.
Valhalla is hosting the PGA Championship for the fourth time. Tiger Woods (2000) and Rory McIlroy (2014) have won the last two PGA Championships held at Valhalla.

Three-time & defending PGA Championship winner Brooks Koepka will lead a field that includes 16 PGA Champions and 33 Major Champions at the 2024 edition.

What Is At Stake
The field will be competing for a total 2024 PGA Championship purse of $17.5 million, with the winner taking home $3.15 million.
The Wanamaker Trophy is awarded to the winner of the PGA Championship and his name is engraved on the trophy each year.
