Atletico are undefeated in their last eight matches at home having recorded one draw and seven victories at the Estádio Cívitas Metropolitano.
While Cadiz claimed a 2-1 win over Valencia CF at home on April 30 as they snapped their three-match winless run in La Liga.
The Yellow Submarine are undefeated in their last four matches on the road having registered one win and three draws as the away side.
What Is At Stake
Atletico are still placed third on the league standings and they are now two points behind second-placed Real Madrid.
The Mattress Makers will be determined to secure a victory over Cadiz in order to boost their ambitions of finishing second this term.
Cadiz are placed 14th on the league standings and they will be looking to secure a win over Atletico in order to ease their relegation fears.
Team News

Meanwhile, Jon Ander Garrido, Joseba Zaldua, Juan Cala, Gonzalo Escalante, Brian Ocampo and Fali are currently on Cadiz's injury list, but the club has no suspension concerns.
Key Players
Alvaro Morata is Atletico's top scorer in the league this term with 12 goals and the Spanish hitman will be keen to propel his side to a win over Cadiz.
On the other hand, Cadiz will pin their hopes of defeating Sergi Guardiola who netted the winning goal against Valencia.
Quotes
"Valladolid is a brave team," Atletico manager Diego Simeone said after masterminding a win over Valladolid.
"They had to take advantage of the counterattacks, the game had gone very well with 0-3 and without danger, the penalty appeared and the goal put them in the game.
"In the second half it was different, they were more encouraged, they took advantage of the stopped ball to push and score, the changes gave us offensive vertigo," he added.
"In that I hit you and you hit me, we were more forceful. Memphis (Depay) and (Angel) Correa entered to get more advantage and not defend the 2-3."
Head-to-Head
Cadiz claimed a 3-2 win over Atletico in their last meeting in La Liga with the match taking place at the Estadio Nuevo Mirandilla on 29 October 2022.
This was the Yellow Submarine's first win over the Mattress Makers in the league since Cadiz were promoted to the Spanish top flight in 2005.
