10 different nations have won this competition with at least 26 teams reaching the semi-finals of the tournament. Argentina are by far the most successful team in the competition winning it on six occasions. The next best is Brazil with five trophies under their belt. They have also been runners up a record 4 times.
Who are the players to look out for?
Radoslaw Majecki Goalkeeper, Poland
Majecki has been the first choice goalkeeper for Legia Warsaw, the 19 year old has kept an impressive seven clean sheets and only conceded 12 goals in 14 games.
Diego Lainez Midfielder, Mexico
At the tender age of 18, Lainez is a highly rated player and already boasts four senior appearances. He’s been making appearances for Real Betis in Spain since January 2019 and is one to look out for in this tournament.
