Rory McIlroy will be eager to register his third victory of the 2025 PGA Tour season by winning the
Texas Children's Houston Open.
What to know about McIlroy
The Northern Irish superstar turned professional in 2007, having made his first appearance in a European Tour event a few days after turning 16, when he took part in the 2005 British Masters.
McIlroy is currently on 43 professional tournament wins, including 27 PGA Tour victories, and he is also a four-time major champion, winning the 2011 US Open, 2012 PGA Championship, 2014 Open Championship, and 2014 PGA Championship.

The six-time Harry Vardon Trophy winner has been inactive since he competed in 2025 The Players Championship in Florida, USA, where he was crowned champion.
McIlroy is currently ranked second in the Official World Golf Rankings and spent over 100 weeks in the top spot during his career.
