2019/20 Premier League
Round 5, 14-16 September
Various venues
The 2019/20 Premier League continues with Round 5, featuring 10 matches spread from Saturday 14 September to Monday 16 September.
The weekend’s Premier League action opens at Anfield, the home of log leaders Liverpool, as they welcome Newcastle United for an early afternoon kick-off. The meeting of the Reds and the Magpies is one of the great fixtures of the English top flight in the past 25 years.
The round continues on Saturday with five 16:00 afternoon clashes, the pick of which sees an ailing Manchester United host Leicester City at Old Trafford. The Red Devils’ poor start to the season has many doubting whether they remain one of English football’s elite, and an ambitions Foxes team are certainly one of the candidates to replace them in the top six.
There will also be a London derby between Tottenham Hotspur and Crystal Palace, a tough test for Chelsea as they head to Molineux to take on Wolverhampton Wanderers, and a battle between two red and white striped teams as Sheffield United welcome Southampton to Bramall Lane.

Saturday’s late game sees champions Manchester City head to Norwich (where Teemu Pukki will hope to add to his burgeoning reputation with a goal or two against the Citizens), while Sunday’s key game sees Watford host Arsenal – a definite must-win fixture for both teams, as they look to build momentum after the international break.
The round wraps up with an early-week treat as Aston Villa and West Ham United meet in Birmingham on Monday night to renew their rivalry in the top flight of English football. Support your teams with the best
