The 2024 Men's T20 World Cup Super 8 matches will take centre stage between 19 and 23 June as teams battle to reach the knockout stage.
What to know about the Men's T20 World Cup
The top two teams from each group in the group stage will be placed into any of the two groups of four teams in the Super 8 stage.
In the Super 8 stage, each team will play the others in the group as a round-robin, with the top two teams from each group advancing to the knockout stage.
No points are carried over from the group stage to the Super 8.
Super 8 Groups
India, USA, Australia, England, Afghanistan, West Indies, South Africa and Bangladesh are the eight teams who have qualified for the Super Eights.
India, Australia, Afghanistan, and Bangladesh will feature in Group 1 of the next round, whereas West Indies, South Africa, England, and the USA will feature in Group 2.
Favourites
Defending champions England and West Indies are the two of the most successful teams in the history of the Men's T20 World Cup having won two titles each.
However, India are currently the best team in this format as they are placed at the top of the ICC Men's T20 Team Rankings followed by Australia.
Reigning Cricket World Cup champions Austalia and South Africa, who are placed fifth on the Men's T20 Team Rankings, will be facing their chances of winning the tournament.
What Is At Stake
ICC have announced a record-breaking prize fund of $11.25 million USD for the 2024 Men's T20 World Cup, with the winners set to receive at least $2.45 million and a trophy made of silver and rhodium.
The runners-up will earn at least $1.28 million, while the losing semi-finalists will take home $787,500 each.
