Matt Fitzpatrick will be eager to become the first English golfer to win the
RBC Canadian Open title since 1981 when Peter Oosterhuis clinched it.
What to know about Fitzpatrick
The 28-year-old has won nine professional tournaments since he turned pro in 2014 and he has won one major title which is last year's US Open trophy.
Fitzpatrick is a two-time winner on the PGA Tour, six-time winner on the DP World Tour and two-time Ryder Cup team member.

The Sheffield-born star was in action at the recent Memorial Tournament where he finished in the top 10 - finishing ninth.
Fitzpatrick is in the top 10 on the Official World Golf Rankings (OWGR) - placed eighth coming into the RBC Canadian Open where he is among the favourites to win it.

The Florida-based golfer is having a stellar 2022-23 PGA Tour season with three top-10 finishes including a victory at the recent RBC Heritage and a T10 finish at The Masters.
Competing in his third RBC Canadian Open, Fitzpatrick will be determined to clinch the trophy before he travels to California where he will defend his US Open title.
