The
2023 Memorial Tournament is set to place in Dublin, Ohio, a suburb north of Columbus in the USA between 1 and 4 June.
What to know about the tournament
This tournament was formed in 1976 and it is played on a Jack Nicklaus-designed course at Muirfield Village Golf Club.
The golf course includes a 1999 bronze sculpture of one of golf's icons, Nicklaus mentoring a young golfer located in the wide median of Muirfield Drive.
Tiger Woods is the most successful golfer in the history of the Memorial Tournament having won it five times - clinching it in 1999, 2000, 2001, 2009, and 2012.

Tournament officials have announced that 120 players will compete in this year's event and it will feature nine past winners of the Memorial.
The 2023 Memorial Tournament will mark the 48th edition of the prestigious invitational Jack Nicklaus started in 1976.
Three-time major winner Larry Nelson is the Tournament Honoree.

Billy Horschel will defend his Memorial Tournament title having also clinched the 2022 trophy.
The list of top-10 players in the Official World Golf Ranking competing includes No. 1 Scottie Scheffler, No. 2 Jon Rahm and No. 3 Rory McIlroy and No. 4 Patrick Cantlay.
In addition to Horschel, Cantlay and Rahm, other past Memorial winners returning to Muirfield Village Golf Club include Hideki Matsuyama, Jason Dufner, K.J. Choi, Matt Kuchar, David Lingmerth, and William McGirt.
What Is At Stake
The 2023 Memorial Tournament will offer Official World Golf Ranking points to the winner, with final points ratings determined ahead of the event teeing off on Thursday.
The tournament boasts a purse of $20 million and the winner of the event will earn their share of $3,6 million, while also receiving a trophy.
