Red Bull Racing's Sergio Perez will be aiming to put his recent woes behind him by getting back amongst the podium places at the
Canadian Grand Prix on Sunday, June 18.
The Mexican appeared to be a serious challenger to Red Bull team-mate Max Verstappen for the F1 title after winning the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix and the Azerbaijan Grand Prix.

A further two P2 finishes at the Bahrain Grand Prix and the Miami Grand Prix saw the gap to Verstappen at the top of the drivers' standings sit at just 14 points.
However, Perez from himself starting at the back of the grid at the Monaco Grand Prix after crashing out during the first qualifying session and finished out of the points in P16.

The 33-year-old then went off the track during the second qualifying session for the Spanish Grand Prix and started 11th on the grid, although he managed to carve his way through the field to come in just 3.423 seconds behind Mercedes' George Russell in P4.
'Checo' is now 53 points behind the reigning two-time World Champion going into round eight, but he claims to be more comfortable with the RB19 car compared to its predecessor despite his mistakes in Monaco and Montmelo.
Perez felt the RB18 had become increasingly difficult for him to control as a result of the continuous upgrades, with the car suffering from understeering early on and oversteering as the campaign progressed.
"I think last year was very extreme because we had like 15 kilos overweight, and so the car changed a lot from the beginning to the end," he said. "Now I think it's just a much more normal season in terms of those upgrades."
2023 Spanish Grand Prix results:
Winner: Max Verstappen - Red Bull Racing
Second Place: Lewis Hamilton - Mercedes
Third Place: George Russell - Mercedes
