2022/23 FA Cup
Final
Manchester City v Manchester United
Wembley Stadium
London, England
Saturday, 3 June 2023
Kick-off is at 16h00
Erik ten Hag will look to cap off his first season at Manchester United with a second trophy when his team faces Manchester City in the
FA Cup final at Wembley on Saturday, June 3.
The Dutchman guided United to the EFL Cup title in February with a 2-0 victory over Newcastle, becoming only the second manager in the club's history to win silverware on his debut after Jose Mourinho achieved the feat in 2017.
The Red Devils have a rich pedigree in the world's most famous cup competition, lifting the coveted trophy on 12 occasions - two behind record winners Arsenal - although it has been seven years since their last triumph.

United reached the final again in 2018, in what was their 20th appearance at that stage, but they succumbed to a 1-0 defeat against Chelsea.
Ten Hag's side needed penalties to see off Brighton in the semi-finals, having beaten Everton, Reading, West Ham and Fulham all by a 3-1 scoreline in the previous four rounds.
Casemiro has made a telling impact at Old Trafford following his arrival from Real Madrid in August 2022, with Ten Hag admitting the Brazilian has exceeded expectations this season. The 31-year-old holding midfielder has chipped in with some important goals and bagged a brace in the fourth-round win over the Royals.

The Red Devils head coach has a few injury problems to contend with for the crunch clash in the capital as Donny van de Beek, Marcel Sabitzer (both knee) and Lisandro Martinez (ankle) remain unavailable for selection, although Antony (ankle) could come back into contention.
United have a good FA Cup record against their neighbours, winning six of their previous nine encounters, while they emerged 2-1 victors most recently in the Premier League on January 14.
As such, Ten Hag believes his players are more than a match for the star-studded Citizens, who are pursuing a historic treble.
"I think you have always a chance in football. History shows we beat them in January. Man United, the last couple of years, beat City many times.
"These players know when they play at their levels they can compete. It's obvious. We play at this moment the best team, but still there is a chance and we have to go for the chance. We have to give everything and after the game we can't have excuses for ourselves."
