World No.1 Iga Swiatek will be targeting her second Grand Slam title of the year when
Wimbledon gets underway on Monday, June 27.
The Pole followed up her semi-final appearance at the Australian Open by winning the French Open last month for the second time in her career.
Swiatek has enjoyed an impressive 2022, coming out on top in all six finals she's been involved in since making an exit in the second round of the WTA 500 Dubai Championships in February.
The 21-year-old broke Serena Williams' record of 34 consecutive victories with her triumph at Roland Garros and she described the achievement as "something special".
"It may sound pretty weird, but to have that 35th win and do something more than Serena is something special because I've always wanted to have some sort of record," Swiatek told WTA Insider.
"In tennis, it's pretty difficult after Serena's career. Doing something better than Serena is the best thing you can achieve in tennis, basically, after what she has been doing for so many years."

2019 - Simona Halep (ROU)
