2022/23 UEFA Nations League
League A - Group 4
Matchday 2
Wales v Netherlands
Cardiff City Stadium
Cardiff, Wales
Wednesday, 8 June 2022
Kick-off is at 20h45
The Netherlands will be looking to make it nine wins from nine against Wales on matchday 2 in the
UEFA Nations League at the Cardiff City Stadium on Wednesday, June 8.
The Oranje made an impressive start in the competition when they recorded a convincing 4-1 win over Belgium in Brussels on Friday, inspired by a brace from Memphis Depay.
Louis van Gaal's side have embarked on a 10-match unbeaten run since being knocked out of the 2020 European Championship by the Czech Republic in the round of 16.
The Dutch secured their ticket to the 2022 World Cup after losing just once in qualifying to finish top of their group and they beat Denmark 4-2 before playing out to a 1-1 draw against Germany during the previous international break.

Van Gaal feels they are not playing to their full potential yet, claiming his players switched off for a spell after going 2-0 up against the Red Devils.
"We did not play well for the whole 90 minutes. But we did for a long period: we are getting closer to the 100 percent," he said. "After we went 0-2 ahead, we lost our focus for a while. That can't happen."
Meanwhile, the Dragons will be soaring after beating Ukraine 1-0 on Sunday in the playoff finals to seal their place at the World Cup.
Rob Page's team suffered a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Poland on matchday 1, which halted a nine-game unbeaten streak and they will be determined to get their campaign up and running in Cardiff.

Page revealed his squad is brimming with confidence after qualifying for the World Cup for the first time in 62 years.
"We will go out there with the confidence we have had going into any game," he told BBC Wales. "We will go toe to toe with anybody - bring it on. That's the attitude we have got in that changing room."
Head-to-Head record:
Matches - 8
Wales - 0
Netherlands - 8
Draws - 0
