This speaks volumes about the event’s importance and impact. Judging by this year’s turnout, I anticipate that we might need an even bigger venue next year.” He also confirmed that all charities, foundations, and schools would begin receiving donations from the beginning of next week on behalf of the team captains who nominated them.
Mpho Makola, former Orlando Pirates and Cape Town City star and captain of Bibo’s Buzz, reflected, “Many of us want to give back to the community but lack the means and to do so. Being here and participating in such a great initiative allows us to play our part.” He added, “I reached the final in 2023 however in a different team and again this year; next year, I’m making sure it comes home!”
