Matchday 27
AC Milan v SS Lazio
San Siro
Milan, Italy
Sunday, 2 March 2025
Kick-off is at 21h45
AC Milan will face off with their top four rivals SS Lazio when the two teams meet in a
Serie A match at San Siro on 2 March.
Current Form
Rossoneri suffered a 2-1 defeat to Torino FC away on 22 February and the defeat ended their four-match unbeaten run in the Italian top-flight.
However, Milan are enjoying an eight-match unbeaten run at home in the league having registered five draws and three victories at San Siro.
Meanwhile, Lazio drew 0-0 with Venezia FC away on 22 February and they are undefeated in their last four matches in Serie A.
The Eagles are also unbeaten in their last three away matches in the league having registered two successive victories and one draw as the visitors.
Team News
Milan have no suspension issues, but Emerson Royal, Alessandro Florenzi, Kyle Walker and Ruben Loftus-Cheek are all out injured.
Lazio, on the other hand, will also be without the injured players Elseid Hysaj and Valentin Castellanos, but there are no suspension concerns.
Quotes
“We have to verify his condition. He felt pain when he took that shot," Lazio manager Marco Baroni said about Fisayo Dele-Bashiru's injury after the draw against Venezia.
"Playing every two or three days, it’s going to be difficult to get him recovered for the next match. Venezia sat very deep and it was not easy to open up those spaces.
"We often tried to move the ball around with short passes, but they slowed us down and we never quite managed to get a rhythm going. Venezia deserve a lot of credit for frustrating us.”
Head-to-Head
Milan and Lazio drew 2-2 in their last meeting in the league which was on 31 August at Stadio Olimpico.
As a result, Rossoneri are undefeated in their last four matches in Serie A against the Eagles having registered one draw and three wins.
