Russell Henley will be determined to become the fifth golfer to win the
Cognizant Classic twice since the tournament's inception in 1972.
What to know about Henley
The American star turned professional in 2011 after he won the Stadion Classic at UGA on the Nationwide Tour, only the second amateur to win on that tour; Daniel Summerhays was the first in 2007.
Henley has won seven professional tournaments including four PGA events and he finished fourth in the Masters Tournament in 2023 - his best performance in a golf major.

The former University of Georgia student has been inactive since he competed in the 2025 Genesis Invitational in California where he finished 39th.
Henley is currently ranked 17th in the Official World Golf Ranking and his best overall ranking is 12th.
Why Henley is among the favourites
At number 17, the 35-year-old is the highest-ranked golfer in the world in the 2025 Cognizant Classic field and this makes him the clear favourite to win the tournament.
Furthermore, Henley won the Cognizant Classic in 2014 after Russell Knox, Rory McIlroy and Ryan Palmer all failed to get down in two, leaving Henley to hole from three feet for victory.
