The White and Blues claimed a 2-1 win over Real Mallorca away on 18 February as they snapped their four-match winless run in the Spanish top tier.
However, Sociedad are winless in their last four home matches in the league having registered three successive draws and one defeat at the Reale Arena.
Meanwhile, Villarreal drew 1-1 with Getafe CF at home on 16 February as they extended their unbeaten run to five matches in La Liga.
The Yellow Submarine are also unbeaten in their last two away matches in the competition having recorded one win and one draw as the visitors.

Sociedad players Aihen Muñoz, Carlos Fernández, Álvaro Odriozola, Sheraldo Becker, Kieran Tierney, Aritz Elustondo and Martín Merquelanz are currently injured, but the club has no suspension concerns.
Villarreal, on the other hand, also do not have any suspension worries, but Yéremy Pino, Denis Suárez, Juan FoythM Ramón Terrats and Alfonso Pedraza are all out injured at the moment.

“Getafe are one of the best teams in the league in terms of attacking strategy," Villarreal manager Marcelino García Toral said after his side's draw against Getafe.
"In the goal, we could have done a bit more. They scored in the first one they had and when we had the game where we wanted it to be.
"In the second-half they did have some dangerous chances and the game became more even. We need to improve. We were penalised again by set pieces. We must put a lot of emphasis on them.”
