The Black and Whites are also winless in their last six matches at home in Serie A having recorded four draws and two defeats at Stadio Alberto Picco.
Meanwhile, Napoli edged out AS Roma 2-1 at home in their previous league match which was played on January 29.

Napoli are also unbeaten in their last two away matches in the league having registered two consecutive victories on the road.
“These are the games you win only if you show that you are determined to win," Napoli manager Luciano Spalletti said after their late win over Roma.
“These are complicated games and it’s a crucial win for our team because with the intensity that the schedule dictates with each week you can get easily lost along the way.
“If you don’t enjoy the daily work you put in during training and if you’re not enthusiastic about playing alongside your teammates then you lose points more easily.”
The last meeting between Spezia and Napoli in a league game was on 10 September 2022.
Napoli ran out 1-0 winners over Spezia in a match that was played at 1990 FIFA World Cup venue, Stadio Diego Armando Maradona.
