2021/22 English Premier League
Matchday 26
Leeds United v Manchester United
Elland Road
Manchester, England
Sunday, 20 February 2022
Kick-off is at 16h00
Leeds and Manchester United are set to renew hostilities when they lock horns at Elland Road in the
Premier League on Sunday, February 20.
The fierce rivalry, which is sometimes referred to as the Roses derby or the Pennines derby, has historic ties dating back centuries as a result of enmity between Lancashire and Yorkshire.
The Whites haven't beaten the Red Devils in the Premier League since a 1-0 success on home soil in October 2002, although they did come out on top in an FA Cup third-round tie in January 2010.

Marcelo Bielsa's side suffered a 3-0 defeat away to Everton on February 12 which left them without a win in their last three encounters.
Bielsa admitted they just couldn't get it together at both ends of the pitch against the Toffees, defending well in spells but not creating any chances and visa versa.
"It was difficult to defend. Second half we defended a bit better, but could not attack. We did not defend well in the first half, but we created some danger," the Argentine said.
"Second half we defended better apart from at the end, but we did not create danger. The result was fair."
United dropped crucial points twice in the space of a week as they squandered the lead against both Burnley and Southampton to come away with 1-1 draws.

Ralf Rangnick's men are unbeaten in their last five top-flight outings, but won just two of those to hamper their top-four challenge.
Rangnick expressed concern at the amount of times his team has taken the lead, only to end up with a point - they also drew 2-2 at Aston Villa last month after going two goals up.
"Yes, in all of those games [Aston Villa, Burnley, today] we were 1-0 or 2-0 up and we gave away six points in those three games. This can happen once but it shouldn't happen three times and, with four points more, we would speak in a different way right now," the German said after the Saints stalemate.
"But, again, it's what we have to get better at and become more lethal, more decisive and more convinced that we shouldn't give away points like those today."
