The Golden State Warriors will take on the Portland Trail Blazers in the National Basketball Association (NBA) match on December 31.
This will be the 239th meeting between reigning NBA champions Warriors and Trail Blazers in regular-season games since 1970.
The Trail Blazers have dominated this fixture, having recorded 129 wins compared to the Warriors' 109 victories.
Their last meeting was on 12 October 2022, with the match taking place at the world-class facility, Chase Center, which is the Warriors' home ground.
The Warriors defeated the Trail Blazers 131-98 as Moses Moody recorded 20 points, three rebounds and two steals for the home side.
The Warriors are placed 11th on the Western Conference standings, having registered 15 victories and 18 defeats from 33 matches.
Meanwhile, the Trail Blazers find themselves seventh on the Western Conference standings, having recorded 17 wins and 15 defeats from 32 games.

The Warriors' road struggles continued on Thursday morning, December 22, as the team lost 143-113 to the Brooklyn Nets, with Jordan Poole displaying his poor performance.
Poole, who is the Warriors' shooting guard, finished with 13 points on 4-of-17 shooting, including 1-of-11 from 3-point range, two assists and seven turnovers.
"The simpler [he] plays, the easier shots [he] gets," Warriors head coach Steve Kerr said.
"It sounds like a bit of a paradox, but it's been an issue here for us the past few games. The last couple of nights [he was] just trying way too hard."
