Netherlands v United States

Kick-off is at 17h00
The Netherlands will be looking to continue their unbeaten start to the
2022 World Cup when they meet the United States in the last 16 on Saturday, December 3.
The Oranje maintained their impressive record of reaching the knockout stages at every edition they've competed in after winning Group A.
Louis van Gaal's side kicked off their campaign with a 2-0 win over Senegal before being held to a 1-1 draw by Costa Rica and then beating hosts Qatar 2-0 on Tuesday, November 29.

The Dutch are determined to make up for the disappointment of failing to qualify for the 2018 World Cup in Russia, having been runners-up in 2010 and semi-finalists in 2014.
Van Gaal pulled no punches in response to criticism of his playing style in the pre-match press conference, saying: "I'm not going to expand on it because I think you have a different opinion of football.
"Why don't you write down it's terribly boring. If you think it's boring why don't you go home?"
When one journalist described watching them play was like "grinding teeth", the 74-year-old replied: "Well, that's disappointing I think but I don't agree with you.
"I think everyone would be rather proud we're progressing to the next round and I think people know why you're asking these questions. I don't think things are as bad as you say."
The Stars and Stripes have progressed to the round of 16 in their last three appearances, setting up a date with the Netherlands after finishing second in Group B.
Gregg Berhalter's team needed to beat Iran on matchday 3 to keep their World Cup dream alive following draws against Wales (1-1) and England (0-0) in their opening two matches.

Christian Pulisic's 38th-minute goal saw off Team Melli as USA claimed the runners-up spot behind the Three Lions to remain undefeated in Qatar.
Berhalter is hoping to emulate the class of 2002, who made it to the quarter-finals, insisting anything is possible that this stage in the tournament.
"I want you to enjoy this, but we're not done. That's the mentality we need to have, guys. Not that we're happy to be here," the 49-year-old told his squad in the dressing room after the Iran clash.
"You guys flip the switch and get into competitive mode. In a knockout anything can happen. It's about survival now. I'll take you guys all day, all day."
