Atletico Madrid will square off with Elche CF in a Spanish La Liga match at the Estádio Cívitas Metropolitano on December 29.
The Mattress Makers succumbed to a 1-0 loss to Real Mallorca away in their previous league game which was played on November 9.
The defeat extended Atletico's winless run to three matches in this competition having recorded two defeats and one draw.
However, the Mattress Makers are winless in their last three matches at home in La Liga, having registered two successive draws and one defeat.

Meanwhile, Elche suffered a 2-1 defeat to Girona FC at home in their last league game which was played on November 8.
The loss extended the Green Striped Ones' winless run to 14 matches in La Liga, having recorded 10 defeats and four draws.
Relegation-threatened Elche are winless in their last nine away matches in this competition having registered seven defeats and two draws on the road.
"I believe in staying up because I have already been through a similar situation," new Elche manager Pablo Machin said on November 30 after being appointed.
"When I left Soria, being an unknown coach, I earned an opportunity with Girona. I caught a relegation battle, with 13 days to go, when I was eight points away from safety. And we managed to get them out of the descent.
"Do I know the formula? I am sensible and the formula is not exact because each club is different. I do know that the key is work and conviction because Elche has a better squad than the table reflects."
The last league meeting between Atletico and Elche was on 11 May 2022.
Atletico emerged as 2-0 winners over Elche in a match that was played at the second-largest stadium in the Valencian community, Estadio Manuel Martínez Valero.
