Manchester United will be aiming to change their 2021/22
English Premier League fortunes under interim head coach Ralf Rangnick, starting with a home win over Crystal Palace at Old Trafford on Sunday.

Rangnick was appointed as interim manager until the end of the season late last month following the dismissal of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, with former United midfielder Michael Carrick having stepped in as caretaker for the past few matches.
The Red Devils struggled for consistency under Solskjaer and have managed just the one win in their last eight league matches following a 1-1 draw at Chelsea over the past weekend.
"The squad is full of talent and has a great balance of youth and experience," said Rangnick on his arrival at Old Trafford. "All my efforts for the next six months will be on helping these players fulfil their potential, both individually and, most importantly, as a team.
"Beyond that, I look forward to supporting the club's longer-term goals on a consultancy basis."
Palace are winless in three league matches following a 1-0 loss at Leeds United on Tuesday evening

The Eagles took four points off United last season and won this fixture 3-1 in the 2020/21 campaign on the back of a Wilfried Zaha brace. The reverse encounter at Selhurst Park ended in a 0-0 draw.
