Kaizer Chiefs will renew their rivalry with Orlando Pirates in the 2019 Carling Black Label Cup match on Saturday, July 27.
The one-day pre-season match featuring the two Soweto giants will take place at the FNB Stadium in South Africa. Kick-off is at 15h00 pm.
Amakhosi are the defending champions having won the last trophy after defeating Pirates 1-0 at the FNB Stadium in 2017.
Chiefs lifted the trophy for the second year running having also clinch it in 2016, but the 2018 edition was cancelled due to the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
The Soweto giants are coming into this year's competition winless in their last five competitive matches.
Their last competitive game ended in a 1-0 defeat to National First Division (NFD) side TS Galaxy in the Nedbank Cup final on the 18th of May 2019.
Meanwhile, Pirates will be keen to reclaim the Carling Black Label Cup as they are the most successful team in the history of the competition which was incepted in 2011.
The Buccaneers have lifted the trophy a record four times having won it in 2011, 2012, 2014 as well as 2015.
The Soweto giants are undefeated in their last seven competitive matches.
They thrashed Polokwane City 3-0 in their last competitive game which was an Absa Premiership match on the 11th of May 2019.
The last meeting between Chiefs and Pirates was on the 9th of February 2019.
The encounter ended in a 1-1 draw in an Absa Premiership encounter at the FNB Stadium.
