Chelsea will do battle with fellow Premier League outfit Bournemouth in the quarter-final of the Carabao Cup on Wednesday evening with a coveted spot in the last four up for grabs.

Chelsea made light work of Nottingham Forest in the third round before battling past Everton into the last eight where they will have home comforts for the third consecutive round.

This will be just the 11th ever match between the two sides since 1988 when Bournemouth won the first meeting between the pair 1-0 in the old Second Division. Glenn Murray scored the only goal of the game that night to give Bournemouth a hugely famous 1-0 win at Stamford Bridge.
