Brazil will go in search of a ninth Copa America title when they take on Peru in the final at Estadio do Maracana in Rio de Janeiro on Sunday 7 July 2019.
Brazil last won the Copa in 2007, ending a sequence of success in which they had claimed four out of five South American continental crowns from 1997 onwards.
This time around coach Tite has taken ‘A Selecao’ on a journey in which they have gradually improved through the course of the tournament, and local fans will expect a champagne performance in Rio on Sunday night.

Brazil certainly turned on the style with a 2-0 win over arch rivals Argentina in the semifinals, with Gabriel Jesus and Roberti Firmino scoring the goals to secure a place in the championship match.
The hosts will also look to the likes of Philippe Coutinho, Dani Alves and Richarlison for inspiration, but they must first ensure a solid defensive base from the likes of goalkeeper Alisson and defender Thiago Silva.
Should Brazil triumph in the final, they will also become the first team to win the Copa America on home soil since Colombia in 2001.
