Bidvest Wits will face off with Cape Town City in the Nedbank Cup Last 32 game at the Bidvest Stadium on Wednesday. The Clever Boys drew 1-1 with Kaizer Chiefs at home in an Absa Premiership match which was played on Saturday evening.
The 2010 Nedbank Cup champions are unbeaten in their last five league games having recorded three wins and two draws.
Meanwhile, City were narrowly beaten 1-0 at home by Mamelodi Sundowns in a league game which was played last week Friday.
As a result, the Citizens, who will be making their second appearance in the Nedbank Cup, have recorded two defeats, two wins and one draw in their last five league games.
The last Cup meeting between Wits and City was on the 10th of September 2017 during the current season. City stunned Wits 2-1 in the 2017 MTN8 Cup semi-final second-leg match which was played at the Bidvest Stadium.
