Viktor Hovland will be looking to become the first golfer to win back-to-back
Tour Championship titles in the history of the tournament.
What to know about Hovland
The Norwegian star is a former number one in the World Amateur Golf Ranking and he is the first Norwegian to win on the PGA Tour and European Tour.
Hovland has since won five further times on the PGA Tour, including the 2023 Tour Championship resulting in his first FedEx Cup.

The Stillwater, Oklahoma-based golfer took part in the recent BMW Championship where he was not at his best as he finished 26th.
Hovland is placed eighth on the Official World Golf Rankings and his best OWGR ranking is third place.
Why Hovland is among the favourites
The former Oklahoma State University student won the 2023 Tour Championship and FedEx Cup, and became the third-youngest FedEx Cup champion (25).
Hovland, who finished second at the recent 2024 FedEx St Jude. Championship, will be looking to replicate the form which saw him win last year's Tour Championship.

“The game plan was to try to play as boring as possible - play it like Tiger (Woods) back in the day when he would post a 69 or 70 in a major championship and walk away with the victory,” Hovland said after winning the 2024 Tour Championship.
“What he was doing today was very special. t made this day more stressful than it should have been.
“It’s pretty surreal to be standing here right now [with the FedEx Cup trophy]. I played basically my best golf the last two weeks and it couldn’t have happened at a better moment.”
