AS Roma will be targeting a winning start to their
2023/24 Italian Serie A campaign when they face US Salernitana at the Stadio Olimpico on 20 August.
Current Form
The Wolves wrapped up their 2022/23 Serie A season with a 2-1 win over Spezia Calcio at home on June 4 as they snapped their seven-match winless run in the competition.
However, Roma are unbeaten in their last two home matches in the league having recorded one victory and one draw at the Stadio Olimpico.
Meanwhile, Salernitana lost a 2-0 to US Cremonese away on June 3 in their last game of the 2022/23 season as their three-match unbeaten run in the Serie A came to an end.
The Garnets are winless in their last nine away matches in the league having registered three defeats and six draws as the visitors.

Roma have signed Houssem Aouar and Evan Ndicka while Georginio Wijnaldum returned to his parent club PSG and Justin Kluivert was sold to AFC Bournemouth.
While Salernitana have purchased Boulaye Dia, Antonio Candreva and Lorenzo Pirola as they reinforced their squad ahead of the current campaign.

Roma and Salernitana played to a 2-2 draw in their last meeting in Serie A which was on 22 May 2023 at the Stadio Olimpico.
The Wolves are undefeated against the Garnets in their last four matches in Serie A.
Roma have recorded three wins and one draw against Salernitana whose last victory over the Wolves came on 24 January 1999.
