"We are aware that to get to fourth place we need to take one step at a time. The match had become complicated after a bad first half; lately we have been conceding too many goals and we have to improve while maintaining clarity," Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri said after their draw with Bologna.
"Now let's prepare for the Italian Cup, and let's look at it with the glass half full: at the beginning of the season, we would have lost these games. Having said that, after the draw we would have had to try, even just two moves, to overturn it since we were eleven against nine: you have to score when you have the opportunity.
"There is still work to be done, so let's stay focused, let's not be rushed and let's keep working."
The last meeting between Sassuolo and Juventus in the league was on 27 October 2021.
Sassuolo claimed a narrow 2-1 victory over Juventus in a match that was played at the Allianz Stadium (Juventus Stadium) which is the first club-owned football modern venue in Italy.
