The
2021 French Open is set to take place at the iconic Stade Roland Garros in Paris, France, from 30 May to 13 June 2021.
The Grand Slam tennis tournament to be played on outdoor clay courts comprises of singles, doubles and mixed doubles play.
It will be the 125th edition of the French Open which is also known as the Roland Garros and the second Grand Slam event of 2021.
Rafael Nadal is the four-time defending champion in men's singles, and Iga Swiatek is the defending champion in the women's singles.

Nadal clinched a record extending 13th French Open title last year after defeating Serbian superstar Novak Djokovic in an enthralling final.
The Spanish tennis icon will face stiff competition from Djokovic, Daniil Medvedev, Dominic Thiem, Stefanos Tsitsipas, Alexander Zverev and Roger Federer in this year's Roland Garros.
While Swiatek won the women's singles title last year after defeating American star Sofia Kenin in an entertaining final.
The Polish star will be up against the likes of Kenin, Ashleigh Barty, Naomi Osaka, Aryna Sabalenka, Elina Svitolina and Serena Williams in this year's competition.

American starlet Coco Gauff, 17, who is the youngest player ranked in the top 100 by the Women's Tennis Association (WTA), is looking forward to competing in French Open.
“I love Paris, it's my favourite city and Roland-Garros always has some good memories from the juniors, even last year,” Gauff said.
“I love the Eiffel Tower and love the food. I like the language. Paris is the first city I visited out of the country. I visited when I was 10 and ever since then, I loved it.

“Definitely means a lot, especially on clay, which is not really, I feel, like a surface people associate me with so it feels good and I like the dirt now,” the 25th-ranked player added.
“I feel like I'll take one or two days off because Paris is going to be a long one.”
