Scotland will be looking to start their 2019 Rugby World Cup Pool A campaign with a win over Ireland at the International Stadium Yokohama on Sunday.
The Bravehearts are hoping to impress at the global competition under the guidance of Gregor Townsend.
The European side is one of the ever-presents at the tournament having participated in eight World Cup since its inception in 1987.
Scotland's best performance in the World Cup came in 1991 when they finished fourth after losing to New Zealand in the third-place playoff match.
Townsend will be looking to ensure that the Bravehearts reach the final for the first time this year.
Meanwhile, Ireland will be looking to make a huge statement at the global tournament under tutelage of Joe Schmidt.
The Men In Green are also an ever-present in the competition having featured in eight World Cup finals.
The European side has never progressed beyond the quarter-finals having reached this stage seven times.

Schmidt will be keen to become the first Men In Green coach to guide the team to the semi-finals.
The last meeting between Ireland and Scotland was on the 9th of February 2019.
Ireland beat Scotland 22-13 in the 2019 Six Nations Championship game which was played in Edinburgh.
