Spurs registered three 1-0 wins on the trot to start the season before a 3-0 loss at Crystal Palace last weekend. A Japhet Tanganga red card opened the floodgates at Selhurst Park as new manager Nuno Espirito Santo ultimately suffered his first Premier League defeat as Tottenham boss.
While there are still questions about how well Spurs will do this season, Chelsea look like serious title contenders.
The Blues won three of their first four games this season and held Liverpool to a 1-1 draw at Anfield despite having played most of the match with 10-men. A solid defence is complimented by an improving attack which is expertly led by Romelu Lukaku.
The Belgium international, who is in his second spell at the club, scored a brace in a 3-0 win over Aston Villa last time out.
"He [Lukaku] is a great addition, a great character, and I don’t need to talk about what kind of player he is. He proved himself wherever he was. He is a big player for us and I hope he will continue like that," Chelsea midfielder Mateo Kovacic said when asked about his teammate.
"It was a difficult game [against Villa] but in the end we managed to win a difficult game 3-0 which says a lot about our squad," he added.

Chelsea took four points off Spurs last season. A 0-0 draw at Stamford Bridge was followed by a 1-0 win in north London with Jorginho netting the decisive goal from the penalty spot.
