Lewis Hamilton will be keen to make history by becoming the first driver to win the
Azerbaijan Grand Prix twice.
The Mercedes driver endured a disappointing race at last year's Azerbaijan Grand Prix as he finished 15th failing to pick up points in the process.
Hamilton's struggles in the current season continued at the recent 2022 Monaco Grand Prix - finishing eighth on May 29.

The British superstar had hoped for rain before the race but failed to use it to make any in-roads after being stuck behind both Alpine drivers at different stages of the race and he finished eighth.
Red Bull Racing-RBPT's Sergio Perez won the Monaco Grand Prix with Ferrari driver Carlos Sainz Jr and Max Verstappen of Red Bull finishing second and third respectively.
Looking at the 2022 Drivers' Championship standings, Verstappen is still placed at the top of the table and he is followed by Charles Leclerc and Sergio Perez respectively.
Hamilton, who is a seven-time Formula One world champion, is placed eighth in the standings and he will be looking to win the Azerbaijan Grand Prix for the second time having clinched it in 2018.

“I might have been able to, I don’t know, honestly I haven't seen what was possible," Hamilton said about failing to capitalise on a wet track in Monaco.
"But it definitely didn't help being stuck behind them both. I didn't find it frustrating. It's what you expect here in Monaco.
"I knew once I’d qualified behind one of them it was going to be something like that. I was hoping the rain would open up some opportunities but it didn't work this weekend."
Red Bull Racing-RBPT are placed at the top of the Constructors' Championship standings and they are followed by Ferrari and Mercedes respectively.
