World No.2 Daniil Medvedev will be hoping to go one better at this year's
Australian Open after losing to Novak Djokovic in the 2021 final.
The Russian was defeated in three straight sets after making it all the way to the final for the first time in his career.

Medvedev had never gone beyond the fourth round in his four previous attempts at the first Gland Slam event of the year.
The 25-year-old has won 13 singles titles, including the US Open in 2021, while he was a losing finalist in 2019.

Medvedev helped Russia to their third Davis Cup title in December 2021 with victory over Croatia, and he told the press afterwards: "I can say that for all of us it's very important to win here.
"It's still the Davis Cup. We still see Novak (Djokovic) playing. Rafa (Nadal) won it last time.
"No matter the format, the best players in the world are happy to represent their country. It's Davis Cup and we are the winners of it. That's the most important thing."
