2020-21 English Premier League
Matchday 31 of 38
Manchester City vs Leeds United
Etihad Stadium
Manchester, England
Saturday, 10 April 2021
Kick-off is at 13:30 CAT.
Manchester City will be aiming to move a step closer to clinching the 2020-21
Premier League title when they host Leeds United at Etihad Stadium on Saturday.
The Cityzens hold a 14-point lead atop the league standings heading into the weekend's round of fixtures and on a three-game winning run.
A 2-0 win over Leicester City at King Power Stadium means Pep Guardiola's side now need just 11 points from their remaining seven games to secure a third title in four seasons.
"The champions are Liverpool, they have the crown - but we are close to taking it," said Guardiola.
"I love the Premier League more than any other competition. We are close, very close."
Leeds have won their last two matches and head into the fixture in 11th spot on the league standings and on the back of a 2-1 win over Sheffield United.
The reverse fixture at Elland Road earlier this season ended in a 1-1 draw with goals from Raheem Sterling and Rodrigo.
