What are wagering requirements

A wagering requirement is the number of times you need to “play through” a bonus before you’re able to withdraw any winnings.

Sports Bonus terms and conditions

  1. When your account is credited with promotional Sports Bonus credits, these credits will be added to your bonus balance in your Sports Bonus wallet.
  2. Sports Bonus credits are subject to 3x (three times) playthrough requirements at total odds of 1.5 or more (single or Multi Bets) before they can be withdrawn.
  3. If you do not want a Sports Bonus credit that has been deposited into your Sports Bonus wallet by Betway, you may request to have that Sports Bonus credit removed from your Sports Bonus Wallet. Such a request can be made by email or telephone. If any playthrough of a Sports Bonus credit has not taken place, then that Sports Bonus credit may not be removed from your account until the playthrough requirements associated with that Sports Bonus credit have been met.
  4. Where the payment of a Sports Bonus credit under the terms of any promotion is dependent on you making a deposit into your cash balance, and you withdraw all or part of the deposit before the Sports Bonus credit is paid into your Sports Bonus Wallet, you will forfeit the Sports Bonus credit in question and any winnings won using the Sports Bonus.
  5. If, prior to complying with the full playthrough requirements, your Sports Bonus balance drops below GHS 1 in your Sports Bonus Wallet and, provided there are no bets in play at the time, then your playthrough requirements will be considered to have been met.
  6. When you add sports bets to a betslip, the Sports Bonus credit in your Sports Bonus Wallet will be made available via a tick box for you to use, at your election.
  7. When you win on a sports bet using a Sports Bonus credit, the winnings of that bet will be returned to the Sports Bonus wallet.
  8. When you choose to withdraw your cash balance, the Sports Bonus balance in the Sports Bonus wallet is automatically forfeited.
  9. The minimum odds in order for a bet to qualify to utilise a Sports Bonus credit will be 1.50.
  10. A Sports Bonus credit can only be used once on an event.
  11. Any betting markets that can either result in the customer having their stake returned or generate a partial win are excluded from boost winnings, this includes but is not limited, to Draw/No Bet.

General terms and conditions

  1. A valid Betway account is required to participate in the promotion.
  2. The promotion is only open to persons who are natural persons, 18 years or older, and either Ghanaian citizens or permanently reside in Ghana.
  3. Any and all winnings are not transferable, and no substitution is permitted. Winnings will not be handed/awarded to a third party, but only to the verified winner.

Casino Bonus terms and conditions

  1. When your account is credited with promotional Casino Bonus credits, these credits will be added to your bonus balance.
  2. Casino Bonuses are subject to different playthrough requirements per bonus.
  3. If you do not want a promotion bonus that has been deposited into your bonus balance by Betway, you may request to have that promotion bonus removed. Bonuses that are in a pending state can be removed from your bonus summary.
  4. Where the payment of a bonus under the terms of any promotion is dependent on you making a deposit into your cash balance, and you withdraw all or part of the deposit before the bonus is paid into your bonus balance, you will forfeit the bonus in question as well as any other pending bonuses sitting in your bonus summary.
  5. The bonus can only be used, and the playthrough requirements met, on casino games only. However, different types of games will contribute differently towards meeting the playthrough requirement. The contributing percentages are as follows:

Playthrough terms and conditions

  1. Irregular play is deemed when Betway detects unnatural player betting patterns. Irregular play includes, but is not limited to, any one or more of the following types of play:
    • Placing single bets equal to or in excess of 15% of the value of the bonus before the playthrough requirements for that bonus have been met.
    • Using the double-up feature to increase bet values.
    • Placing high-value bets with the single intention of increasing your balance, thereafter, proceeding to place bets of less than half of the prior bet value, while reasonably not decreasing your bankroll, in order to meet bonus play-through requirements.
    • Even money bets on Sic Bo, craps, baccarat, Wheel of Riches and roulette.
    • Employing a strategy by which high-value bets are placed on any game with playthrough contribution weightings less than 30% (any table games, card games, video poker, etc.) and then proceeding to place bets of less than half of the prior average bet value while changing game type to higher-weighted games (slots, casual games, scratch cards, etc.).
  2. Any irregular play will result in immediate disqualification from a bonus and Betway reserves the rights to withhold any withdrawals and/or confiscate all winnings. Any repeat offence of irregular play may result in your exclusion, deregistration or suspension from the platform.
