The Red Roses lost 25-10 to South Africa away in their previous match which was an international rugby game in June 2018.
The victory ended England's six-match losing run in all competitions.
They will be targeting their second successive victory when they lock horns with South Africa.
Meanwhile, South Africa suffered a 32-30 defeat to New Zealand at home in their previous match which was a Rugby Championship match earlier this month.
Prior to facing New Zealand, the Springboks had recorded two consecutive victories in the competition.
