Patrick Cantlay will be looking to make history by winning the
BMW Championship for the second time having clinched last year's event.
No golfer has won back-to-back BMW Championship titles since the tournament's formation in 2007 and Cantlay will be keen to change this.
The American star won the BMW Championship on the sixth hole of a sudden-death playoff over Bryson Dechambeau.

Cantlay was in the best form of his life as he won the Tour Championship at East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta, Georgia a week later.
This victory won him the FedEx Cup and a $15,000,000 season-long bonus and he was voted the PGA Tour Player of the Year.
Cantlay, who is currently placed fourth on the Official World Golf Ranking, has won seven tournaments on the PGA Tour to date as well as the 2021 FedEx Cup.
The 2011 Jack Nicklaus Award winner has won one event in the current 2021-22 PGA Tour which was the 2022 Zurich Classic of New Orleans (with United States Xander Schauffele) in April.

“I felt like I tried to stay in my own little world,” Cantlay said after winning last year's BMW Championship.
“I’m just as focused as I can be. If I look the way I do, it’s because I am locked in and focused, and I felt like that today.
"My game feels really good. It has for a while now, since Memorial, and I’m finally starting to putt like me again.”
Tiger Woods and Dustin Johnson are the most decorated golfers in the history of the BMW Championship having won the tournament twice each.
